Orthodontics
Orthodontic treatments are a type of procedures developed to improve the alignment and appearance of teeth.
Aligners : Aligners are used to straighten teeth and can be a suitable alternative to metal braces. Over the past decade, their use has grown tremendously in popularity. Dental aligners are made with clear, medical-grade, BPA-free plastic like a mouth guard, that covers the teeth. Instead of being attached to your teeth, they are removable. When you have an aligner treatment you are given a set of clear plastic teeth aligners. Each aligner is designed to move your teeth a little bit more in a desired direction. The aligners are changed every 7-14 days as the treatment progresses.
Invisalign : Invisalign is a system of clear, tailor-made aligners designed to gradually shift teeth into their optimal position. Crafted from a unique material that is both durable and flexible, these aligners are nearly invisible when worn, making them a favored option for both adults and teenagers. Invisalign has been clinically proven to effectively address a range of orthodontic concerns, such as overcrowding, gaps, overbites, underbites, and open bites.
Braces : Braces are dental devices that apply gentle, consistent pressure to shift teeth into their desired position. They consist of three main components: brackets, which are small metal or ceramic pieces attached to each tooth; wires, thin metal strands that connect the brackets and exert the force that moves the teeth; and bands, elastic or metal rings that hold the wires in place. As the wires are tightened, they gradually reshape the jawbone and surrounding tissues by dissolving bone on one side of the tooth and promoting the formation of new bone on the other, allowing the teeth to shift into proper alignment.
